Ms Collard - our new Home School Link

Ms Collard has been appointed in the role of Home School Link Worker. Many of you may know her as a Teaching Assistant, having worked at Whiteknights for the last 12 years. In that time, she has been lucky enough to work with many of your children in the classroom, as well as a Nurture Assistant and running the school choir.

Her role as Home School Link Worker involves working with families to ensure that children are successful in school, happy and secure. She will be here to help with a range of issues that can affect children and families. These may include difficulties with attendance, happiness in school or helping parents with their children’s emotions and behaviour. Ms Collard will also support families with other issues such as bereavement, family breakdown, domestic violence and special educational needs. She is also able to offer support for young carers.
