Data Protection and Privacy

Under data protection law, individuals have a right to be informed about how the Bellevue Place Education Trust (BPET) and its academies — including our school — use personal data. BPET complies with this right by providing Privacy Notices to individuals where we are processing their personal information.
BPET is the Data Controller for the purposes of data protection law and therefore determines the purposes for which personal data is processed. Whiteknights Primary School and authorised third parties (such as Arbor) process and use data on behalf of the Trust and are therefore Data Processors.
Data Protection Officer:
Jane Aust, Head of Operations, Bellevue Place Education Trust
Email: dataprotectionofficer@ bpet.co.uk
BPET ensures that all data is processed fairly and lawfully, is accurate, is kept secure, and is retained for no longer than necessary.

Photographs and Media

As part of our activities, we may use photographs or videos of pupils on this website.
Consent for this is sought in line with the BPET Website Content Policy, which requires explicit parental permission and is available on the BPET website.
Images are typically unnamed and used for internal or educational purposes but may also appear in:
  • this website
  • printed materials (e.g. prospectuses, leaflets)
  • slideshows at parent/carer events
  • school displays visible to visitors.
Parents and children will always be informed when filming or photography is taking place and how the content will be used.

We will also explain how you can prevent cookies from being stored, though doing so may downgrade or ‘break’ certain elements of the site’s functionality.
