Rubbish or Resource? Celebrating National Recycling Week

This week we have been marking National Recycling Week with a range of activities across the school. In Year 1, the recycling theme linked perfectly with their science topic on materials. The children took part in a sorting activity using our own school recycling, helping them to think carefully about what different materials are made from and where they belong.

It’s been fantastic to see the children so engaged in learning how small actions can make a big difference to the planet!
