Spring Term Ends with a Whiz, a Wham, and a Whole Lot of Fun
4th April 2025
As the spring term draws to a close, we’re reflecting on a term packed with celebration, creativity, and community spirit. From the stage to the playground, pupils across the school embraced a series of festive events with enthusiasm.
Lower Key Stage 2 wowed audiences with their spring production of Whiz Wham Alakazam – a magical and musical adventure that showcased the pupils’ confidence, talent, and teamwork. It was a joy to see the children take to the stage and bring the story to life!
No spring term would be complete without some of our much-loved traditions. The annual Easter bonnet parade brought colour and creativity to the school grounds, with pupils proudly showing off their handmade designs. Meanwhile, the egg rolling competitions were a cracking success – with even the teachers joining in the fun!
In Early Years, there was plenty of excitement as pupils welcomed some very special visitors – live chicks! The children were fascinated to watch the chicks hatch and grow, learning about lifecycles and how to care for living things. To top it off, we were also treated to a visit from a lamb from Mrs Jensen’s farm where the children had the opportunity to meet the lamb up close.
It’s been a busy and eventful term, full of memorable moments that brought us together as a school community. We’re proud of everything the children have achieved and look forward to all that the summer term has in store.
