Year 1 had an unforgettable adventure on their recent trip to Studley Grange – Butterfly World and Farm Park!
The children were charmed to learn all about the life cycle of a butterfly. As they explored the butterfly house, they admired the colourful wings and the butterflies fluttering all around them.
They also discovered an incredible variety of animals throughout the park – from meerkats and otters to raccoons, peacocks, chickens, and lambs. There was a mix of excitement and bravery as the children had the chance to handle and observe a range of animals up close. This included rabbits, guinea pigs, giant African snails, cockroaches, millipedes, lizards – and even snakes!
It was a brilliant day full of wonder, hands-on learning, and lots of fun.
