Year 3 Steps into the Shoes of Palaeontologists

This week, Year 3 stepped into the shoes of famous fossil hunter Mary Anning, exploring what it means to be a palaeontologist. The children examined evidence of ammonites in rocks and discussed how fossils help us uncover the secrets of creatures from long ago. Inspired by Mary they even crafted their own clay fossils, bringing prehistory to life in the classroom.
