Exploring the Cosmos: A Stellar Day at Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium

Embarking on an exciting educational adventure, our Year 5 pupils recently visited the Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium and the experience was nothing short of exhilarating. The day was filled with a myriad of engaging activities, from watching a mesmerising show in the planetarium that transported pupils to the wonders of the cosmos, to hands-on exploration of gravitational pull, pulley systems and the fascinating world of weight and balance. The students also had the opportunity to channel their inner scientists by building rockets, sparking creativity and teamwork. It was an enriching day where laughter, learning and scientific exploration converged to create lasting memories for everyone involved.
