Sports Day and Summer Fair 2024: A Spectacular Success

This year's annual Sports Day and Summer Fair was as memorable as ever, with the entire school community coming together for a day of fun, competition and camaraderie. We were especially pleased that the weather played along perfectly, providing us with the ideal backdrop for a series of fantastic events.

The sports segment of the day featured the sports carousel, offering pupils the opportunity to engage in a variety of fun sporting activities. The highlight, of course, was the final heats of the athletics running races. Pupils gave it their all, showcasing their speed and determination. Not to be outdone, the parents also joined in the excitement with their own races, bringing a level of fierce competition and spirited fun that had everyone cheering from the sidelines.

Meanwhile, the Summer Fair was an undeniable hit with our families. This year, we introduced a new food court, which included our very own hotdog and pizza stall. These additions were incredibly popular, with lines forming throughout the afternoon as families enjoyed the delicious treats on offer. The presence of independent vendors also added a special touch, drawing great support from our school community and offering a variety of unique products.

The afternoon was filled with numerous fun activity stalls, each bustling with eager participants. From games and crafts to raffles and face painting, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Families reveled in the festive atmosphere, making the most of the beautiful weather and the array of activities on offer.

We are immensely grateful for the overwhelming support and generosity shown by our community. Thanks to your participation and contributions, this event raised in excess of £3,000. These funds will be instrumental in supporting ongoing projects around the school, aimed at enriching the educational experiences of our pupils.
