Wonderful turnout to Annual Year 5 Assembly

On Tuesday, 31st January we had our annual Year 5 Assembly. The assembly was focussed on the learning of the past few months in RE, DT, Music, History and Latin.

  • In RE Year 5 acted out a story about Guru Nanak and presented information about the Sikh religion.
  • For DT we heard from Sapphire class as they explained what a pulley is and the pros and cons of different types of bridges.
  • For music we heard a rendition of Shosholoza and saw a traditional african dance.
  • In Latin we heard translated instructions to a group of Roman soldiers and for history we observed a debate over the working conditions of the working class.

We are so proud of the children and their learning. Thank you for supporting your children - the Year 5's were thrilled!
